Andrea will take your ideas and turn them into the perfect cake for any occasion, and any budget. She can work in several different mediums and it doesn't even have to be a cake! The white dog on the All Occasion page has rice krispies and marshmallow under the fondant. All of her cakes deserve a close inspection. Just check out the details from some of her creations:
"I began to love baking from the time I learned to read. When I discovered as a child that by following a recipe, I could turn such simple items in my cupboard like flour, sugar, and baking powder into delicious, sweet treats like cookies, brownies, and cakes, I was hooked. I still have as much of a sweet tooth today as I did then, and I'm still thrilled to turn plain old kitchen ingredients into scrumptious creations. I've also had a very artistic drive that never really found an outlet. I dabbled in drawing, sewing, crafts, but not until I googled fondant did I fall in love with a hobby. I've since taken cake decorating courses at 'The Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts' in Vancouver, taught by April Bellia, which boosted my confidence in cake decorating immensely. Creating cakes gives me so much pleasure, and I consider it a privilege to be able to create cakes for others as well.
I pride myself on using high quality ingredients for the most moist and delicious cake possible. Baking is my passion, hobby and past-time, and I'm lucky enough to have two little boys that seem to share my love of cake decorating and a wonderful husband who'll do more than his share around the house when I'm engulfed in cakes.
